Apply for a studio space

We are excited to finally be able to allocate artist studios at the London School of Mosaic site in Gospel Oak. Through investment from the Greater London Authority, Camden Council, The Arts Council, Garfield Weston and a community crowd funder, we have been able to expand our current site to create more space.

The newly developed London School of Mosaic site will act as a hub, bringing together local organisations, residents and artists.

We have 30 artist studios on site, single studios of 12sqm and double studios of 24sqm, which can also be shared between multiple people to keep costs down. The studios will be heated and have WIFI.

Please see the photos below taken in April 2023. If you have any questions, please email info@lsomosaic.com

The above photos show the space in construction on 18th April 2023, the completed studios will open in June 2023. For studios with fronts these will have a polycarbonate sheet and a lockable door.

How much is the rent?

We have single studios at 12sqm and double studios at 24sqm which can be rented between one or more artists.

Double studios: Our double studios have a boxed pipe running through the ceiling making them cheaper. Some are bays without a front wall or a door making them perfect to share. The prices vary to accommodate for this. Prices are £628/month for an open space and £682/month for a space that is private. Prices include service charges.

Single studios: Only one of our single studios has a boxed pipe running through the ceiling. Some are private spaces and some do not have a door. The single with a boxed pipe, and those without doors are priced at £375/month. All other single studios (no pipe, lockable) are priced at £432/month. Prices include service charges.

What does the rent include?

All charges related to the property e.g. rent, service charges, use of kitchen and Wi-Fi.
